Close Encounters

jesus-conversationOur latest series leading us to Easter Sunday focuses on interpersonal encounters with Jesus during his ministry, passion week, and Easter Sunday.

Part 1: When God Speaks

In this first sermon Brent Allen, Converge Northeast District Executive Minister, shares a message on the three times God the Father speaks to Jesus his Son.  These three encounters remind us the basic but timeless and profound truths of the faith.

Part 2: Holy Week Encounters with Christ

In this second installment of the series North Harbor’s own John Schanck explores three conversations Jesus has during Holy Week.  The three conversations help all of us contemplate our own relationship with our redeemer.

Beautiful and Dangerous 5

jellyfish_865Part 5: Body = Image; Sex = Symbol.

This week our Family Ministries Director, Lisa, speaks to the women of the congregation about body image.  Lisa takes us through John 4.1-42 and demonstrates for us, once again, that body and spirit cannot be separated.

For further reflection:

Spend time meditating on Romans 12.1-2 for a greater insight on giving our bodies as an act of worship.
